The New Home Construction Home Warranty Service Agreement provides 3 years of systems and appliances coverage for new homes. Homeowners can elect whether this protection starts at closing or if they would like it to start 1 year from the date of closing.
Having the corresponding agent information will allow 2-10 HBW to notify the agent that the Home Warranty Service Agreement has been ordered.

1. When you order a Service Agreement, request an HVAC Certification.
2. 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty® (2-10 HBW) contacts an authorized, independent service contractor to notify them of the HVAC Certification request.
3. Service contractor has 24 hours to contact the real estate agent. Weekends or holidays may delay the contact until the next business day. Real estate agent: please be sure to discuss any inspection or closing deadlines as it may take 5-7 days to complete.
4. If the real estate agent hasn’t been contacted within 24 hours, the agent may contact the service contractor.
5. At the time of inspection, someone must be at the home, and all fees for services rendered must be paid directly to the service contractor.
6. Service contractor will email or fax the inspection form to 2-10 HBW. 2-10 HBW will advise the agent, in writing, if the HVAC passed or failed.
